There are
voting problems in Pennsylvania preventing voters from casting ballots. There are also problems being reported in Indiana. And Colorado. Democracy has most definitely left the building.
When Swift Boats Attack
This is the way you fight back against chickenhawk cowardly politicians. Yes, i’m talking about Rep. Curt Weldon.
Listen to Joe Sestak’s interview on DoubleSpeak. If you live in the PA-07, please go volunteer for Joe!
The Press Has Been Met
This morning, Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) debated Sen. Mike DeWine (R-OH) on NBC’s Meet The Press moderated by Tim Russert.
I thought Brown did a great job taking on DeWine. He kept him on the defensive and painted him as ineffective. He also hammered the Senator on his negative campaign and there were times when DeWine couldn’t defend his own record. DeWine spent much of the debate ducking Russert’s questions.
Here is the transcript.
Below, you’ll also find transcripts to the other Meet The Press debates from the past couple weeks.

A Quick Note From CT
Day 8
10:18 AM ET.
This first entry today won’t be long because we’re finishing up some work here in Cheshire, CT and then driving back to New Haven for some interviews.
Later this afternoon we’re driving due north to Rhode Island, home of one of the most closely watched Senate races in America between embattled Republican Lincoln Chaffee and Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse.
We had a great night sleep, some tasty (healthy) food and we’re all feeling good.
Tonight, more writing and producing!
Keep an eye out for our next episode with Joe Sestak (PA-07) and Lois Murphy (PA-06) - the episode should be up within the hour.

Rendell Scores Touchdown Against Swann
It looks like Pennsylvania’s great Governor, Ed Rendell (D-PA) will soar to victory against ex- Pittsburgh Steeler Lynn Swann (R).
In a new Rasmussen Reports poll, Rendell leads Swann by 20%.
We all know that Democratic Senate nominee Bob Casey is trying to ride the Governor’s long coattails into office and is therefore running the worst campaign in the history of Pennsylvania. This 20% spread is encouraging, not only for Rendell, but also for Casey.
