Craig Thomas, Rest In Peace…

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Senator Craig Thomas and his family.

From AP (via Huffington Post):

Wyoming Sen. Craig Thomas, a three-term conservative Republican who stayed clear of the Washington limelight and political catfights, died Monday. He was 74.

The senator’s family issued a statement saying he died Monday evening at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. He had been receiving chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia.

Rest in peace, Senator.

is reporting that Spokesman Tony Snow has just been diagnosed with liver cancer. Tony Snow had his colon removed in 2005 after cancer was discovered. DoubleSpeak would like to wish Tony and his family the best of luck in their struggle to beat this horrendous disease.

WSBTV In Atlanta, GA Is Reporting

that Republican U.S. Rep. Charlie Norwood of Georgia has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 65 years old. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and staff.
