Misting In Minnesota

Day 28
11:58 AM CT.

We’re back, America.

After a really terrific weekend with some very special ladies, the DoubleSpeak team is back and better than ever! We’re still in Minneapolis, MN and today Peter and I are working from our new office at the Caribou Coffee on Hennepin Street. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and we’ll buy you a cup of coffee.**

We are working hard booking the next couple days including Keith Ellison, candidate in MN’s 5th CD, the MN Senate candidate Amy Klobuchar, and others. Oh, and we are working to book a very special guest whose name rhymes with “Billary”. Should be an exciting couple of days for DoubleSpeak and for America.

Stay tuned for lots of photos from our weekend once Joshua B. Skaroff emerges from his weekend.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and let’s get ‘er done.

More later from Caribou Coffee…

**This, of course, is not true.

In Minnesota, A Close Race No More

Amy Klobuchar with the late Paul Wellstone

From the Minneapolis Star Tribune via PoliticalWire:

Retiring Senator Mark Dayton’s (D-MN) seat had been considered vulnerable, but a recent poll has Democratic candidate Amy Klobuchar set to follow in the footsteps of great Minnesota Senators like Walter Mondale and Paul Wellstone. Ms. Klobuchar, currently the Hennepin County District Attorney, holds a 19 point lead over Republican Congressman Mark Kennedy head to head and strong leads in nearly every key demographic. November is a ways away, but this is encouraging news. Check out Ms. Klobuchar’s website when you get a chance.
