Every episode of DoubleSpeak features commentary from a choice selection of voices from around the country.
Episode 1 – Donald B. Slutsky
Donald B. Slutsky brings over 55 years of liberal activism to the show. Ok, 54 of those were actually spent as a hardcore Republican, but we welcome him with open arms and a freshly corked pair of Birkenstocks to our team. When Don isn’t ranting on DoubleSpeak, you can find him in his homemade Situation Room (A.K.A the living room), monitoring Blitzer, Scarborough, Matthews and all the rest while calling his sons to offer political commentary and strategy for the Democratic Party. Without Don, DoubleSpeak would not be possible. No seriously, we would not have been born.
Episode 2 – Ari Melber
Ari Melber is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, and his commentary has appeared in The Nation Online, The Baltimore Sun, The New York Post, The Times Union, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Kirkus Reviews, The Forward, Alternet.org and TomPaine.com. Melber served as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate and as a national staff member on the 2004 presidential campaign of John Kerry. He was born and raised in Seattle and he currently lives in New York.
Episode 8- Jeremy Cluchey
Jeremy Cluchey works in communications in Washington, DC for a non-profit that combats youth illiteracy. He has conducted education policy research for the Albert Shanker Institute, worked on federal workforce issues as a fellow with the Partnership for Public Service, and was most recently a writer/researcher for the progressive media watchdog group Media Matters for America. Originally from Maine, Cluchey enjoys lobster, sailing, and taking lobsters sailing.
