Unity Day!
My brother was on MSNBC a few minutes ago discussing the final hours of the nomination fight between Obama and Clinton. I think he did a good job, but what do I know…I just work here.

Do not underestimate the divide in the Democratic party. I am SO sickened by the hate and vitriol on both sides- but especially towards Mrs. Clinton that I WILL sit this election out. I want the Democrats to suffer and learn that spreading hatred like this has consequences, and if that consequence is Mc Same… so be it.
A joint ticket and REAL show of unity is the only thing that might get me to change my mind, but I have no confidence that will happen. Tough luck Democrats, you shot yourselves in the foot AGAIN!

awww you’re really pathetic. you’re censoring your comments because I don’t agree with your rosy scenario that benefits Saint Obama???
… what is this AMERICABLOG????

Chill out Bryan. It takes us a little time to moderate the comments on this blog.
And just to point out what McSame actually means beyond your feeling of smug satisfaction: 100 years of war in Iraq, more war in Iran, the end of Roe vs. Wade, and a continuation of the economic policies that have slowly destroyed this country over the past 8 years.

I agree with Josh. Look, we have all lost big elections. We’ve all faced disappointment in our lives and we’ve all, at times, felt like we were being screwed. That doesn’t mean that you pack it in and leave the arena.
Obama is going to have to earn your trust, but give it time. We have five months of a long campaign, and at the end, I’m sure you’ll realize that 4 or 8 years of McCain will be a disaster for America.
This is a tough day for Clinton people, I understand that. But, let’s keep it all in perspective - it’s a historic day in America.
Thanks for your passion.
