Two independent sources say Rep. John Murtha’s (D-PA) campaign conceded that they will likely fall short of the necessary votes for Murtha’s leadership bid. It looks like Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) will be the House Majority Leader. The vote is scheduled for today. More on this later.
UPDATE: Nevermind that. Murtha’s campaign hasn’t conceded and we’ll have the actual results for you the minute they’re announced.
