Iowa Meet Russ…Russ Meet Iowa

Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) will travel to Iowa this weekend to speak at the University of Iowa and to campaign for Democratic Congressional candidates.

Sen. Feingold is most likely going to run for the Democratic nomination and as we all know, Iowa plays a pivotal role in the nomination process. Good luck in Iowa, Russ. Try the Jello salad - it’s delicious!

   I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Personally, I am dubious about the McCain/Feingold approach to campaign finance reform.

   But Russ Feingold is a great Senator. As an adopted Cheesehead (Wisconsinite), I know how hard Russ fights for the people. His courage on Iraq, the Patriot Act and Censure are just the beginnning of his achievements.

   If Russ runs, I will likely support him.

   Blitzer/Brian Lamb (C-Span) would be a Hell of a combo!!
