Because of titanic intra-party struggles and late primaries, RI hasn't had a Dem governor since 1792 (note: I may be exaggerating). Brown's fundraising snafu precluded him from being a viable choice for the best nominee. I hope that MT Senate will follow much the same path following the embarrassing revelations about Auditor John Morrison's foolish extracurricular activities. State Senate Pres. Tester should be the nominee. Governor Schweitzer could show his party leadership credentials by telling John he needs to bow out. Good news about Brown dropping out.
