Harris: Back in the Saddle Again

Just when it seemed Florida Senate candidate Katherine Harris’ campaign was headed for the proverbial glue factory, she tells Fox’s Sean Hannity that she’s not only committed to winning the race but she’ll put her $10 million personal fortune on the line to do so.
Harris’ departure would have relieved nervous Republicans who had been hoping their 2000 Kingmaker would step aside for someone a little less divisive, someone who’s not tainted by scandal, or someone whose political fortunes aren’t inextricably linked with the president’s. This can only be good news for Senator Bill Nelson who holds at least a 15 point lead in recent polls despite his state’s increasingly Republican tilt.
Smooth sailin’, Bill.
